Really... I remember you played this song specifically once on a ride back home, I wondered why you picked that one then. Now that you're choosing it again, my curiosity's even higher! It's such a good song, I catch myself singing along with it when I'm alone.

If you wanna tell me its meaning for you I'd love to hear it! P: If you catch this message when I'm not around, then.... if you feel like talking, call my house phone. My mom's gonna be out all day and she'll have the cell with her.

Did I seem more talkative last we talked, btw? ;-; I really tried.

A friend made a poetic post that made me think of it. I've always liked the song and the melody, they're both very beautiful.

I picture myself looking at what the lyrics describe: Someone living in the fantasy they created, and then stepping back and seeing someone else seeing me looking at me the same way I'm looking at someone else's reality. I can look at someone and think they're living in a fantasy, but how do I know myself that what I perceive is not an illusion as well?

Mm, am I allowed to get detail about this post or am I gonna be left in the dark about it? ;3 It is a great song indeed, really love how it all just manages to blend into a wonderful tune with the tone of singing, lyrics AND music... one of the reasons why NIN is one of my most favorites.

Hmmmm... that's actually something fun to think about! A bit complicated in a sense, but enjoyable nonetheless. Would that mean that they're into looking into their fantasy world until they see those who see reality, or something along the lines...? That kind of question really sounds like the person asking it can sometimes get paranoid about if they're just in a dream, if they're not really real or such... not saying this is exactly true, and please do correct me if I'm wrong on any of this... I don't mean to misinterpret, just trying to see if I'm understanding what you're saying.

That, to me at least, really answers the question... if not at least a little. It's all up to an individual to go with what they want to, what they think is the correct path. Unless you're schizophrenic or something, the choice on how you want to see life would have to be all up to you, right..? I'd assume one could (eventually) look what what they think is an illusion in their life and say they do or don't believe it, or the same going with reality... maybe I should say you can, since you're questioning about yourself. You could spend all your time in life wondering this, or you can just decide and stick with what you want to roll with about such a mystery in life, y'know?

...xD; When I talk to you like this I feel like I'm just telling you stuff you already know. I apologize, and I hope at least some things I say can give you a little more to think about.

I've never heard this song from NIN. I really like it, it's what music should be.
